Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey D. Feltman Visits Lebanon

Acting Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey D. Feltman and National Security Council Senior Director for the Middle East and North Africa Daniel Shapiro are visiting Lebanon.  Accompanied by Ambassador Michele J. Sison, Acting Assistant Secretary Feltman and Director Shapiro held discussions with several government leader and others.

Mr. Feltman and Mr. Shapiro arrived in Lebanon after accompanying Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to the International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Economy for the Reconstruction of Gaza.
