Senator John Kerry Visits Lebanon

Senator John Kerry (Democrat – Massachusetts), who is the new chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee of the U.S. Congress, visited Lebanon today.  Ambassador Michele J. Sison and Senator Kerry held discussions with President Michel Suleiman, Prime Minister Fouad Siniora, and Member of Parliament Saad Hariri.

Senator Kerry discussed bilateral matters and regional issues.  He emphasized U.S. support for Lebanon.
