U.S. Condemns Bombings in Algeria
December 11, 2007
The United States condemns the terrorist bombing today in Algeria that killed scores of innocent people, including employees of the United Nations. There is no justification for these despicable attacks.
We stand with the government and people of Algeria as they deal with this unconscionable violence and struggle against this terrorist threat. We are ready to provide assistance to the Algerian government upon their request. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of today’s attacks and their families.
