I have a special passport. Does this entitle me to any courtesies?
Special passport holders are required to pay the visa application fee. In order for the special passport to be valid for travel to the United States, it should include a stamp placed on the observation page of the passport. The stamp should show the bearer’s nationality, registry number, and the bearer’s signature, and is added by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Applicants should ask the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for this stamp before applying for the visa.
I have a one-year passport issued by the Lebanese government; is it valid for travel to the United States?
Yes, the passport is valid for travel to the United States. The fact that it may not be valid for at least six months beyond your date of departure from the United States will not affect your eligibility to travel. The United States has an agreement with Lebanon automatically extending the validity of a passport for six months past the passport's expiration date. Therefore, your passport need remain valid only for the duration of your stay in the United States.
If you are traveling visa free under the Visa Waiver Program and your passport is not valid for 90 days, you will be admitted into the United States until the date on which the passport expires.

My son/daughter is included on my passport, is that OK?
You may submit the passport in support of your son’s/daughter’s application. Please note that you will be required to complete a separate visa application and pay a separate visa processing fee for you and each one of your child/children who are included in your passport. Please note that children who have attained age 15 must have their own individual passport. If you are traveling visa free under the Visa Waiver Program (http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/temp/without/without_1990.html), you and your child will require individual passports.
