Information Resource Coordinator

The Information Resource Coordinator (IRC) is the research and reference service of the U.S. Embassy in Beirut. The IRC provides local Lebanese audiences including journalists, government staff, academicians and NGOs with up-to-date and accurate information about specific subject areas related to the United States, including foreign policy, history, culture, society, and other questions about the United States.  The information is provided both in English and Arabic.

The IRC is part of the Public Diplomacy (PD) section and conducts outreach and research though a number of electronic resources.
Enquiries may be sent electronically to the IRC at BeirutPD@state.gov, by phone or fax 04-544 861.

The request should include the name, institution (if available), phone and fax numbers of the requestor as well as a precise description of the requested information.

NOTE: The IRC does not provide visa information. For visa information, please see Visas to the U.S. on the Embassy’s website.
