IVLP Alumni Reception

On Monday July 27th, the Public Affairs Officer, Dr. Cherie Lenzen, hosted a reception for International Visitor Exchange Specialist Kimberly Havenner from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.  Fortunately, Kim was able to visit Embassy Beirut for a day following the week-long training session she conducted for Locally Engaged Staff members in ‘Amman, Jordan.  During the reception, Kim re-connected with International Visitors Leadership Program (IVLP) alumni.  The reception gave Kimberly the opportunity to discuss the importance of the IVLP program and its impact on Lebanese participants.
