NESA Reception

August 6, 2009

nesa studentsOn Thursday, August 6, 2009, the PAO Dr. Cherie Lenzen hosted a reception for ten Near East and South Asia Undergraduate Exchange Program (NESA) alumni and five NESA departing participants. The gathering was a great opportunity for new participants to interact with alumni and learn from their NESA experience. During the reception, the PAO moderated a discussion with the NESA alumni to evaluate the program and their overall experience in the United States.

The Near East and South Asia Undergraduate (NESA UGRAD) Exchange Program, sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, provides opportunities for current freshman and sophomore undergraduate students, as well as students in their final year of secondary school, to attend a U.S. institution of higher learning for one year.
