Dr. Najwa Nasr, a Fulbright 1991 Alumna, wrote an article entitled "Here I Am, a Young Tree" that was published this month in eJournal USA.
...Najwa Nasr went to the United States in 1981 for her master degree in linguistics, believing she was going to a strange country. Professor Nasr now teaches English linguistics at the Lebanese University. She received her Ph.D. from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. in 1991.
