MEPI Selection Committee to Meet in September

The U.S. Embassy will be convening a Selection Committee meeting for MEPI Local Grant proposals in September, and will consider all proposals submitted by September 10, 2012.  We will be particularly interested in proposals related to electoral transparency and participation, as well as projects aimed at improving conditions of communities and displaced persons near Lebanon’s borders, such as through women’s economic empowerment, supporting youth volunteering initiatives, and promoting conflict resolution, but will consider all proposals that meet the criteria in our Annual Program Statement.   Please visit our MEPI local grants webpage for information on how to submit a proposal.
