U.S. Ambassador Meets with Minister Bassil

U.S. Ambassador to Lebanon Maura Connelly met with Minister of Energy and Water Gebran Bassil today at his offices in Karantina.  Ambassador Connelly encouraged the Ministry’s continued commitment to implement fair, transparent regulations to develop the energy and water sectors. 

She renewed the commitment of the United States to a stable, sovereign, and independent Lebanon.
