U.S. Ambassador Urges Business Community to Partner with Government on Reform

U.S. Ambassador Jeffrey D. Feltman spoke at a lunch hosted by the American-Lebanese Chamber of Commerce, March 28. 2006. He told the audience that Lebanon had no choice on reform; "to become a stable, sovereign and democratic country, Lebanon must become solvent and economically sound. The Ambassador urged the business community to partner with the Government of Lebanon to bring a comprehensive and credible reform plan to fruition.
