Demi Sings the Blues…and Jazz, too

American jazz and blues singer Demi Evans reminded her 700-strong audience that life was worth living and that she was singing to them and for Lebanon’s survival, at The Music Hall, July 2, 2007. 

The U.S. Embassy cooperated with Liban Jazz organizer Karim Ghattas to bring the Demi Evans trio (Composer and guitar Fred Maurisset and Nicholas Noel on piano) to Beirut.  The concert, with proceeds for the Lebanese Red Cross attracted an enthusiastic crowd eager to enjoy a summer concert. 

Demi Evans also performed at a private Independence Day concert hosted by U.S. Ambassador Jeffrey. D. Feltman at his residence, July 4th, 2007.
