Strategic Management for Leaders of Non-Governmental Organizations

This program is designed to help NGO Leaders facing critical junctures in the socio-political development of their regions to build sustainability and strategic focus into their organizations. The Kennedy School of Government is deeply committed to this program, which we intend to be a multi-year commitment toward serving the NGO sector. Participants will engage each other and our faculty on issues relating to:
- Business and Strategic Planning
- Partnership and Collaboration
- Performance Measurement and Maintaining Organizational Focus
- Governance as Leadership
- Accountability: Beginning and Developing a Committed and Engaged Constituency
In addition to using real life cases, dialogue with Harvard experts in the field of NGO leadership and learning practical frameworks to apply to the challenges they are facing, upon completion of the program participants will receive all the privileges that our Executive Education participants enjoy. This includes invitations to Executive Education events, updates on the latest research at the Kennedy School and access to technology which can be used to maintain a support network of fellow participants who will provide advice and accountability for years to come.
