ExchangesConnect Online Video Contest

The U.S. invites anyone aged 14 or older to pick up their video cameras and film a short video for the chance to win an all-expenses-paid cultural exchange to the United States. Through the Department of State’s “My Culture + Your Culture = ?” contest, participants can share their personal perspectives on connecting their culture and other cultures through creative forms of cultural expression including song, dance, spoken word, skits, short stories, poetry and other forms.

Videos must be no longer than three minutes. The top 40 videos will be determined by online voting. A panel of experts will select the winners based on originality, creativity, effectiveness and production quality. There will be a total of four winners worldwide: two between 14-17 years and two 18 years and older.
