The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program 2009-2010; Deadline, September 15, 2008

The U.S. Embassy invites mid-career professionals who have a proven track record of leadership, a commitment to public service and the capacity to take full advantage of a self-defined program of independent study to apply for the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program for the 2009-2010 academic year.

This program brings accomplished mid-level professionals to the United States for a one-year, non-degree program of combined academic and professional opportunities in a variety of fields. It is highly competitive and addressed to the most qualified applicants in both the public and private sectors. Candidates should be between 35-50 years old, with at least five years of professional experience. Strong English language skills are required. 

Applications can be submitted by e-mail to BeirutPD@state.gov, by mail to the U.S. Embassy (PO Box 70-840, Antelias) or in person to the U.S. Embassy in Awkar. Address the envelope to the attention of Public Diplomacy. Applications must reach the U.S. Embassy by 5pm on Monday, September 15, 2008.
