Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m., except for U.S. and Lebanese holidays. Applicants seeking Consular Reports of Birth Abroad and passports for newborn children must schedule an appointment online. Appointments are available Wednesdays between 8:00 and 11:00 a.m., except for U.S. and Lebanese holidays.
Applicants who are late for their appointment will be asked to reschedule for another day.
Federal benefit services including social security, veterans and civil service retirement are provided by appointment only. Appointments can be made by email at BeirutACS@state.gov or via phone at 04-543600 (please ask for American Citizen Services). The section receives phone calls from the public Monday thru Friday between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m.
The Section is open for Social Security, Veterans, Civil Service and Tax Refunds check pick up Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. till 4:00 p.m.
